FIRST RUMMAGE SALE OF 2010

I read in the paper where a local church was having a rummage sale and you could rent tables, so I called and rented one for Saturday, January 16. We took our stuff Friday night to set up, we had so much "stuff" we ended up with two tables. It started at 9:00 and ended at 2:00. We sold so much "stuff"! We had a home theatre system and tabletop stereo that we had taken to several rummage sales, we sold both items, which we thought was worth the effort, if we hadn't sold anything else. But, we did sell alot more and only brought a few boxes of "stuff" home. The church folks had cinnamon rolls and sloppy joes, which were absolutely delicious and the nicest people you would ever want to meet!

CHRISTMAS 2009

We spent a wonderful Chrismas in Minnesota with our eldest son and family. The storms almost kept us home, but we left one day early and managed to miss the worst of the storms. We were looking forward to taking the new dually on a "road trip". It snowed every day we were there and by the time we left to come home, there was at least two feet of snow on the ground.

Our daughter-in-law insisted we bring Maggie and Marlee, even though they chase her 3 cats. They were very good in the truck, they buried themselves in their warm blankets in their crate and slept most of the way  going there and coming home. They are getting to be quite the "seasoned travelers!"

On Sunday, January 3, 2010 Clint and Nikki came for homemade noodle soup,  a family favorite and holiday tradition. We waited to give Clint time to recover from gall bladder surgery that he had on December 15.  It was great to see him looking so healthy and feeling so good!
