MAGGIE AND MARLEE AND I HAD A PLAY DATE WITH BAXTER AND SHERRY. GAIL, HER NEIGHBOR, WENT WITH US WITH HER BABY CHIHUAHUA.
THE GIRLS SEEMED TO ENJOY IT, THEY HADN'T BEEN ON GRASS IN MONTHS.
MARLEE, AS USUAL WANTED TO BEAT UP ALL THE OTHER DOGS, INCLUDING, THE BABY CHIHUAHUA.
WE HAD MADE PLANS WITH JOHN AND KERRY TO HAVE EASTER DINNER TOGETHER. I PUT A TURKEY IN THE OVEN. THIS WAS THEIR LAST DAY TO WORK, SO WE ATE AFTER THEY GOT HOME, AROUND 5.
IT WAS VERY GOOD.
I MADE THE TURKEY, MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY, JOHN AND KERRY DID EVERYTHING ELSE.EVERYONE WAS LEAVING......SHARON AND EDDIE LEFT FIRST, THEN CONNIE, THEN SHERRY AND BAXTER. WE SAID GOODBYE TO KERRY AND JOHN THE THIRD OF APRIL.
G STREET WAS ALMOST DESERTED!
WE FINALLY GOT TO GO TO SEDONA, I HAD BEEN WANTING TO GO THERE SINCE ARRIVING IN MESA. I HAD SEEN PICTURES OF THE RED ROCKS OF SEDONA, BUT PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE. SUCH A BEAUTIFUL RED!
SEDONA IS A BUSY TOURIST TOWN.......
WE HAD MAGGIE AND MARLEE WITH US, SO WE HADN'T PLANNED ON STOPPING....TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR US!
WHILE DARRELL WORKED THAT LAST WEEK, I WOULD GO OVER TO THE HOT TUB/ SWIMMING EARLY MORNINGS. I HAD IT ALL TO MYSELF!
IT WAS WONDERFUL!!
DARRELL FINISHED UP WORK THE 13TH OF APRIL AND WE LEFT MESA ON SATURDAY, THE 16TH OF APRIL. WE HAD ENJOYED THE WINTER WEATHER IN MESA AND HAD MADE SOME GOOD FRIENDS, BUT NEITHER ONE OF US HAD ENJOYED OUR JOBS.
