It has a beautiful hot tub too, one we could hardly wait to get into!
We went grocery shopping, forgot about being in California......no grocery bags!! The new law went into effect January 1.
So this is the way we brought our groceries to the truck!
We saw this sign as we were walking out!
I made a turkey breast for Easter dinner and we found these at the grocery store, we decided to treat ourselves!
We left Monday morning for Riverbank. Another short drive.....200 miles.

We left Monday morning for Riverbank. Another short drive.....200 miles.
We crossed the Stanislaus River to get to Jacob Myers Park.
Jacob Myers Park sits right on the River.
It looks like a lovely place to spend the summer.
I let Sue know we were here and she sent two of her staff over to guide us to our new site.
We met Wayne and George and they led us back, this is the first of the locked gates we have to pass through.
This is the second, you just have to unlock and drop the post.
We will be on this mile long walking trail as back park hosts, and here we are.....Home Sweet Home, at least for awhile.
We were happy to have the cover over the RV, we know it gets hot here in the summer. We got partially set up....I already love it here!
We have large trees, grass and birds singing!! Life is Good! Wayne and George checked in with us in the morning to see if we needed anything. Sue called, she wants to meet at 1:00. I was excited to see this little garden patch and asked Wayne if I could plant a little garden, he said Sure!
We went in for the meeting with Sue and met her staff, all very nice. She wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The front park host, Michelle will train me in the booth Friday. After we had lunch, we got on our walking shoes to explore the park.
Later on that day we met Michelle and Christopher, the front park hosts, who have been here for three years, along with the dog, Dutchess and their lizard, Volk. Christopher is working a full time job, so Michelle does most of the duties of the front park host.
The mornings and evenings were chilly, but the days warmed up in the 70's or 80's. Darrell's allergies started bothering him right away, he was pretty miserable for awhile.
And every evening we are treated to these beautiful California Sunsets!
