HOT!!! 4TH OF JULY, 52 YEARS OF WEDDED BLISS

By the middle of June we were in the 90's here most day, but Saturday, June 17 it was 104 and for the next  7 days it was over a hundred every day. The screens that Darrell put on the back windows were helping a lot! The cover over the RV was a big help too! This beautiful tree provided  us shade outside. The nights cooled off, the Delta breeze would blow in some cool air, we slept with the windows open until early morning and it was so cool you had to close them.

The tomatoes and cucumbers  were loving this hot weather, the  flowers were growing like weeds!

That hot weather ripened the tomatoes! We started eating them on a regular basis....YUM! Nothing like a home grown tomato!

Our  walkers appreciated the stump flowers...  they  would stop and tell me how beautiful they are!

I was enjoying puttering around the garden in the mornings before it got hot. When the park was closed I would take Maggie and Marlee out without this leashes, so they could explore. Marlee loved it, Maggie not so much. Some evenings Marlee and I would go for a walk without her leash.

The summer was flying  by!
One weekend we had a family camped in the Family Campground.

Fourth of July was busy! Opened the back parking lot for just the second time this summer. Isaiah, our weekend security guard let me take his picture.

Michelle and Christopher too!

Folks were lined up at the gate before 7:00 A.M. waiting for the gate to open.

We celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 8. We went to Olive Garden and had a beautiful lunch. I  toasted us with this glass of wine.

We are blessed.

We shared this yummy  dessert.
